Business Analyst

Location: Cairo
Job Type: Full-time

Purpose of the Role

As a Business Analyst, you will lead the development and management of business requirements throughout the project and change lifecycle. You'll play a key role in understanding the business, its operations, and the Insurance/Healthcare industry environment to deliver cost-effective solutions that enable the organization to achieve its strategic objectives.

What You'll Do

• Elicit and document business rules, processes, and system usage to develop clear requirements.
• Collaborate within a Business Architecture framework and work closely with technical teams to define solutions for strategic business problems.
• Apply structured or Agile methodologies for capturing and managing requirements, ensuring traceability and measurable outcomes.
• Facilitate and lead requirements workshops, influencing stakeholders on design decisions.
• Triage new requirements and develop business cases, estimates, and benefits.
• Ensure outputs align with commercially sound business cases and traceable outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve services, and extend solutions across the organization.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with key business and partner stakeholders.
• Contribute to the Business Analysis community of practice and knowledge sharing

• What You'll Bring
• Experience:
• 3+ years in a business change analyst role, delivering end-to-end requirements in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
• Proven ability to facilitate workshops and engage stakeholders effectively.
• Experience in regulated environments (FCA/CQC) and compliance-led projects.
• Skills & Knowledge:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a logical approach to solution design.
• Familiarity with tools and techniques such as SWOT, PESTLE, MoSCoW, BPMN, UML.
• Understanding of requirement and collaboration tools (e.g., MIRO, Visio, JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
• Ability to communicate clearly at all organizational levels and influence decision-making.
• Knowledge of IT applications and Agile/Waterfall lifecycles.
• Bonus Skills:
• Understanding of architectural frameworks (technical and business).
• SQL data analysis and data mapping.
• Digital UX design experience (e.g., Figma).
