Scrum Master & IT Operations Analyst

We are looking for a Scrum Master & IT Operations Analyst to support a commercial data analytics platform used by over 1,000 internal users across Sales, Marketing, Medical, and other business functions.

The platform includes a database, Tableau reports, and self-service analytics tools, and is part of a broader digital transformation initiative within a leading global pharmaceutical company headquartered in Japan.

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-impact platform that supports data-driven decision-making across multiple departments.

You will work in a bilingual environment, collaborating with internal stakeholders and international vendors to drive Agile delivery and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Scrum Master

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives) in both Japanese and English.
• Act as a communication bridge between Product Owner, SMEs, and Development Team.
• Manage Jira and Confluence for change requests and team collaboration.
• Drive process optimization and sprint execution.
• Support backlog grooming and prioritization.

IT Operations Analyst

• Manage ServiceNow tickets and resolve incidents and requests.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure operational excellence.
• Oversee access and license management.
• Maintain documentation and user communications via SharePoint, Confluence, and internal portals.

Required Qualifications:

• Native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency.
• 5+ years of experience in IT projects or application support (PM, PMO, BA, Tech Support).
• Hands-on experience with SQL.
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Tableau or Power BI.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow.
• Certified Scrum Master or Agile experience.
• Understanding of pharmaceutical or regulated industry workflows.
