About the Role:
As a Technical Business Analyst, you'll be the vital bridge between our business stakeholders and technology teams, translating complex business needs into clear technical requirements.
You'll lead business analysis activities for high-priority initiatives while managing projects that deliver tangible value to our corporate functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead business analysis activities for key technology initiatives, including requirements gathering, documentation, and validation
- Manage technology projects from inception to successful implementation, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget
- Develop process maps and conduct detailed analysis to identify opportunities for
improvement and optimization
- Create compelling executive presentations and documentation to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements and build consensus among stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions
- Provide subject matter expertise in business analysis methodologies and best practices
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes
About the Team:
You'll be joining the Corporate Functions IT team that provides Technology change and operations to internal group functions at Swiss Re including HR, Corporate Real Estate Services, Group
Communications and Branding & Marketing. Our team is responsible for delivering technology solutions that enable these functions to operate efficiently and effectively. This role reports to a Product & Delivery Director and offers excellent exposure to challenging Tech delivery/implementation projects and senior stakeholders.
About You:
You're a strategic thinker with exceptional analytical abilities and a talent for translating complex business requirements into practical technology solutions. Your strong communication skills allow you to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels, and you take pride in delivering high-quality results that drive business value. You're comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment and have a passion for continuous improvement.
We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in technology project management with demonstrated
- ability to lead projects from conception to completion
- Strong business analysis experience with proficiency in requirements gathering,
- documentation, and validation
- Knowledge of recognized project management and/or business analysis methodologies
- (certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, CBAP, or equivalent are preferred)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively engage with
- stakeholders at all levels
- These are additional nice to haves:
- Experience working in a technology consulting environment
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies
- Experience with business process modeling tools and techniques
- Understanding of corporate functions such as HR, Finance, or Communications
- Experience working in the insurance or financial services industry.
