We are seeking an experienced Software Business Analyst to become an integral part of our team! You will be working with key members of the business to develop and evaluate system enhancement requirements, to ensure operational readiness, and to verify that new features bound for production meet business standards and needs. You will be expected to take an ownership of the software development process from business needs analysis, through the requirements gathering, to software testing.
Serve as the conduit between the customer community and the software development team through which business requirements flow
Document business requirements in the format that could be understood and easily followed by the software development team
Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
Verify operational readiness and accuracy of features developed by the software team
Provide training when implementing new clients
Provide technical support
Work closely with others to identify, document, and create new feature sets and products
Service-oriented mindset with outstanding interpersonal skills
1-5 years of experience in business intelligence, analysis, or other related field
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to prioritize and multitask and stay organized in a dynamic work environment
Ability to perform work of high difficulty in designing, writing, editing, modifying, and debugging computer programs
