Job Summary:

The Business Analyst is responsible for developing products byidentifying potential initiatives, conducting market research,generating product epics, time-integrated plans for development, anddesigning product strategies aligned with the client's businessgoals. You will partner with seasoned teams to plan, drive, andexecute key product initiatives that cover multiple features.

Job Description:

• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders,including business users, product owners, and IT teams, tounderstand and document business requirements.Conduct interviews,workshops, and analyses to elicit and prioritize requirements.

• Business Process Analysis: Analyze current processes andworkflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas forimprovement. Propose streamlined processes and system enhancementsto optimize operational efficiency.
• Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets related to customerbehavior, risk management, and financial performance. Identifytrends, patterns, and insights to support data-driven decision-making.
• System Analysis and Design: Assess existing banking systemsand applications to identify gaps and propose enhancements or newsolutions. Collaborate with IT teams to define functionalspecifications, conduct feasibility studies, and support systemimplementation and testing.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on banking regulationsand compliance requirements. Ensure that proposed solutions andsystem changes align with regulatory guidelines and industry best practices.

• Risk Assessment: Identify and assess risks associated withbanking operations, processes, and systems. Collaborate with riskmanagement teams to develop strategies for risk mitigation and compliance.
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Define UAT scenarios andtest cases. Collaborate with business users to conduct UAT, ensuresystem functionality meets business requirements, and validateend-to-end processes.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare comprehensivedocumentation including business requirements, process flows,functional specifications, and user manuals. Generate reports andpresentations to communicate findings, recommendations, andproject status to stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships withbusiness users, project managers, IT teams, and otherstakeholders. Facilitate communication and collaboration to ensurealignment between business needs and IT solutions.
• Continuous Improvement: Monitor system performance, gatheruser feedback, and identify opportunities for continuousimprovement in processes, systems, and customer experiences.
• Project Definition & Design:

1. Participate in exploratory discussions regarding desiredbusiness operations performance improvements.
2. Review and analyze current IT systems, documentation, and workprocess requirements to identify system capability gaps.
3. Document current - and future - business/system/data flows.

• Development & Testing:

1. Work with the development team in an advisory capacity toproduce new systems.
2. Work with the testing team to develop relevant test scenariosand testing plans.

• Implementation, Maintenance & Monitoring:

1. Facilitate implementation or roll-out of new functionality(e.g. assist with the design, development, and sometimes deliveryof training for end users).
2. Plan and develop strategies to convert data from the currentsystem to the new structure, if required.

• Process Review & Enhancement:Perform continuousreviews of a process or system to align processes with changingbusiness conditions and new products and service offerings.

• Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools is a plus.

Education:

• Bachelor of Science, Engineering, technology, business,management information systems, economics
• Agile certification from a reputable methodology provider(Scrum Alliance, SAFe)

Experience:

3+ years of experience as a software Business Analyst

3+ years of working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, andframeworks, such as Scrum or Kanban, to deliver software solutions
